Premier League giants Manchester United are reportedly planning to make David De Gea the highest paid goalkeeper in the world on £350,000 a week.
United are said to have designed the new contract proposal so as to prevent David De Gea from joining Spanish club Real Madrid this summer.
It is also intended to demonstrate to De Gea, 27, his importance to United and to reward him for his superb consistency.

Spanish champions Real Madrid have made David De Gea their number 1 summer target as Los Blancos want him to replace Keylor Navas at the Bernabeu.
But according to the fresh report by Daily Star UK, Manchester United are now prepared not to allow David De Gea to leave Old Trafford at the end of the ongoing Premier League season.

Portuguese international Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly told Real Madrid chiefs to bring Manchester United goalie David De Gea to the camp Nou next season.
The Spanish goalkeeper has for years being a target for Los Blancos, and Ronaldo believes Real Madrid can sign the Spaniard at the end of the season.
According to the report by Don Balon, Ronaldo mentioned the name of David De Gea in a meeting with the club's chiefs as a player he wants to play with next season at the Bernabeu.
