Manchester City will face their Premier League rivals Liverpool.


Reigning Spanish and UEFA Champions League champions Real Madrid will face Italian side Juventus in the quarter final of the 2017/18 Champions League.

Real Madrid defeated Juventus in the 2016/17 final, and the Italian club will want to avenge their loss to Los Blancos.

The UEFA Champions League draw took place on Friday afternoon, March 16, in Nyon, Switzerland.
Premier League leaders Manchester City will face Liverpool in their own quarter final tie. City eliminated FC Basel in the knock out stage, while Liverpool dispatched FC Porto.

City's Pep Guardiola is chasing Champions League success for a third time as manager, having triumphed twice at Barcelona. He also took Bayern Munich to the semi-finals three times.

Sevilla who sent Manchester United out of the 2017/18 Champions League will face Bayern Munich who defeated Besiktas in the round of 16.

Barcelona who ended Chelsea's campaign in the 2017/18 Champions League will face Italian side Roma who beat Shakhtar Donetsk in the knock out stage.

Chelsea's campaign in the 2017/18 UEFA Champions League came to an end on Wednesday night, March 14,
after losing 0-3 against Spanish leaders Barcelona .

Argentine superstar Lionel Messi proved himself again against the Blues as he scored the first goal and also gave a superb assist that resulted into the second goal for the Catalans.

Chelsea went into the match knowing fully well that they must score at the Camp Nou for them to have the chance of reaching the quarter final after the first leg ended 1-1.
