German club Bayern Munich are reportedly ready to allow Chilean international star Arturo Vidal to leave the club at the end of the ongoing season in Germany.
This latest information is expected to be a good news for Premier League champions Chelsea who have been looking for his signature since last season.
According to the report by TMW, Bayern are happy to let Vidal leave after securing Leon Goretzka on a free transfer from Schalke and they don’t want his progress to be hindered by competition from the Chilean.
Arturo Vidal joined Bayern Munich from Juventus in 2015 and had superb working relationship with Antonio Conte in Turin where they won three consecutive Serie A titles together.
Conte is said to be interested in having a reunion with the 30-year-old midfielder as long as he remains the Blues' boss next term.
