Messi wants Barcelona to swap Dembele for Griezmann

Reports have it that Lionel Messi has approved the Dembele/Griezmann swap deal, Dembele has a €100m release clause and Griezmann is worth the same price tag.
It is believed that Messi wants to win more laurels in the latter part of his career with Barcelona.
Lionel Messi has reportedly told Barcelona to involve Ousmane Dembele in a swap deal for Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann.
According to Diario Gol, the 20-year-old could be heading to the Estadio Municipal if not given another chance to prove himself at Nou Camp next season.
Griezmann on the other hand, has endured to a slow start to the campaign with 13 goals and nine assists after 31 appearances so far this season but has been proving his importance and class for club and country for years now.                            As for Messi who will turn 31 this year, he wants to be competing for major honours in the latter stages of his career and it would appear as though he believes Griezmann offers a better chance of that compared to Dembele.            Dembele made a big summer money move from Borussia Dortmund for a £135.5m and has been limited to just nine appearances owing to injuries.
